EQ-001 / ROPE SYS

Dynamic Climbing Rope (60m)

UIAA-rated dynamic rope for alpine and river canyon sections. Baseline: ability to manage 15kg load during belay sequences. Used on peak ascents and technical river exits.

EQ-002 / HARNESS

Full-Body Harness

Padded waist and leg loops with gear loops. Baseline: comfortable sustained wear for 6+ hours. Required for all rope-assisted terrain transitions.

EQ-003 / DRY BAG

Roll-Top Dry Bag (20L)

Welded-seam waterproof storage for electronics and base layers. Baseline: no special requirement. Mandatory on all whitewater and snow programs.

EQ-004 / BEACON

Avalanche Transceiver

Triple-antenna digital beacon with search mode. Baseline: completion of 2-hour beacon practice session before snow departure. Provided during orientation.

EQ-005 / HELMET

UIAA Climbing Helmet

Ventilated shell with adjustable suspension. Baseline: proper fit without pressure points. Required on peak, river canyon, and bike programs.

EQ-006 / PFD

Type V River PFD

Rescue-rated personal flotation device with quick-release harness. Baseline: ability to swim 100m in moving water. Mandatory on all river programs.

Pre-Departure Checklist

Complete this verification sequence 48 hours before your program start date. Items marked with brackets require physical confirmation.

  • Footwear broken in — minimum 20 trail miles logged
  • Hydration system tested — 2L minimum capacity
  • Layer system packed — base, mid, shell
  • Navigation tools charged — GPS and backup map
  • Emergency contact form submitted
  • Medical disclosure form completed

Program-Specific Additions

Additional items required based on your selected discipline. Your confirmation email includes the complete manifest for your route.

RIVER ADD-ON

Neoprene booties, throw bag, whistle, river knife. Rapid-class dependent helmet upgrade for Class IV sections.

PEAK ADD-ON

Crampons, ice axe, glacier glasses, summit pack (30L). Crampon fit check required at orientation.

SNOW ADD-ON

Splitboard or touring setup, climbing skins, probe, shovel. Beacon proficiency test mandatory.
